UNION SUPPORT CONTINUES TO GROW FOR EHRLICH WITH THE ENDORSEMENT OF THE AMERICAN POSTAL WORKERS UNION
St. Petersburg, FL - Jessica Ehrlich for Congress announced today the endorsement of the American Postal Workers Union in her campaign for U.S. Congress in Florida’s 13th Congressional District. APWU is now the seventh union to endorse Ehrlich including AFSCME, Laborers’ International Union, the Brotherhood of Teamsters, United Transportation Union, United Association of Plumbers & Pipefitters and United Food & Commercial Workers.
“The Suncoast Area Local of the American Postal Workers Union voted unanimously to endorse Jessica Ehrlich for Congress in Florida’s 13th district. We will be proud to support Jessica in her quest to provide solid solutions for the everyday problems of Floridians.” stated Suncoast Area President Don Delgman.
“I am honored to have the endorsement of the men and women of the APWU. Our postal workers are an important part of one of our greatest American institutions and I am proud to stand with them as we continue to fight for the hardworking men and women of Pinellas County. “
The APWU is the world’s largest postal union, representing more than 220,000 USPS employees and retirees, and nearly 2,000 private-sector mail workers.
A native of St. Petersburg, Jessica Ehrlich is a practicing attorney and has over a decade experience working in the private sector including at three fortune 500 companies as well as almost a decade in federal public policy. Jessica is running for Congress because she is frustrated by the paralyzed partisanship in Washington that is getting in the way of creating more economic opportunity for middle class families in Pinellas County.
